Ben Raichert is a visual designer compelled by the intersection of digital technologies and motion within design. His interests are centralized in branding, typography and motion design. He is studying graphic design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where he also works at Design Works, the in-house design studio. He has a range of experience in print and digital design projects from freelance work and his time at Juxtaposition Arts.
Ben’s process is rigorous, involving a conceptually driven methodology and a technically meticulous execution resulting in thoughtful design. He strives to pragmatically coalesce multifaceted visuals into a single unified aesthetic that effectively expresses meaning. He works industriously to refine projects towards conceptually strong and functional solutions, applicable across mediums in printed, animated and digital forms.
Ben has acquired technical proficiency in the adobe creative suite, figma, html, css, blender and maya. He specializes in branding, typography, motion design, identity, systems thinking and UX design. He is inspired by the natural world with an appreciation for birds and trees. He spends his free time reading classics or drawing.
